I've been watching since 2011 and have been following ever since, enjoying every moment, that being said, I also built many tanks, filteration systems and other things thanks to your guidence. The big Aro was one of my favorite fish on the channel and when 'the video' was uploded, I was distrought. I was pretty distressed when I'd found out that he'd injured himself and was whishing him the very best that I could. Again, my greatest condolences.

oh fuck joey i didn't know you were on 4chan. but seriously, i cried during your video. i could see your emotions. and all honesty i say take all of the love you had for your little buddy and show it to your other fish and makes their lives special in memory of him.

I recently lost two fish I tried to save from a pet shop to a bacterial disease that ravaged them. Did everything I could and cried buckets loads when they passed. It may have been "just a fish" but I bonded with them and gave them each a name. I don't care that they only cost £2 and the same type can be bought again. They were so curious and fed right from my hands, I saw their personalities. I decided to try and build a better relationship with my other pet fish after they passed. Our pets deserve the best from us. I am not over my pets deaths but time helps. Grieve and let it all out.

Lost my cat a few months ago. Got her when I was 6, lost her at 22. She was my best friend.

I want another but I couldn't care for it, and I'm suicidal and don't want to leave it alone after we've bonded.

I walked inside some hole-in-the-wall fish store in Kyota. The guy didn't even look up from his Japanese baseball game on TV the whole time I was there. There were only arowana and many were over $20-30k USD. It was pretty crazy.

One of my rats died while I was asleep. I ended up crying over him for a few hours out of guilt for not saying goodbye. Same thing with my cat. It took a little while but I moved on for the most part. But sometimes I'll see something that reminds me of them. Then I'm depressed for the rest of the day.

I was only really able to feel at peace when the other rat died, because I was with him while he passed. Didn't end up crying over him and buried him alongside his brother.

Basically, if you were with your fish and got to say goodbye, maybe you'll feel better. But it takes time and you probably won't ever forget it fully.
