Is the meaning of life to donate $300 every month and support 200 homeless cats, as well as keep 6 cats in my house? Or is it all about humans, like getting a job at PDG Rehab and helping overly sensitive aspie low IQ people attain jobs they feel comfortable with doing?

This. Neither of those groups are able to positively impact the world. If you find personal joy from seeing the lives of simpletons improved, go for it, but it would be better to help improve the lives of a group which would be capable of giving something back to humanity.
