They get plenty of appreciation, study, shows, etc. they are so popular that even the nasty bowels of the internet with furries appreciate them. The pic in the OP is a crow named Canuck, a human raised crow that lives free in Vancouver BC.

The picture was taken as he stole a kitchen knife from a crime scene.
He's also ridden on the train, bit mailmen, and more recently has attempted stealing food from customers at a McDonald's.
