I especially hate pugs, Yorkshire Terriers, Chihuahuas, and Corgis. I find them aesthetically displeasing and usually have an overly aggressive temperament (with the exception of Corgis who always seem to be lazy fucks).

I dislike pitbulls as well but with regular training they can be tolerable especially when used as a sporting dog.

Uglier, smaller, more hyperactive version of a GSD. It's like they took a shit tier shepherd and built a breed on it as it's foundation. They have way too much drive for the amount of intelligence they lack. Training them is not easy in spite of the fact they constantly require a task. Never had a breed actually exhaust me simply by being around, and I spent summers on my cousins ranch with his border collies.

Yup this has generally been my experience as well. Like last week I was watching UFC [rip Cormier ;(] but I was at a house I've never been to before with a guy I've only met maybe one other time. This dude had two beautiful girls a gigantic shepherd which he claimed was Australian blue pure bred and a rotty mixed with lab and both were fantastically playful dogs. I've never met a rotty up close before but the mix of lab is a perfect temperament

Great Dane can only live until around 8 years old because of arthritis in joints.
Basset and daschy have terrible backs
Bulldogs and pugs have breathing issues,
Chihuahuas normally have to give birth with a ceasarian section as pups heads cant fit birth canal.

They're beautiful dogs. My grandmother has one. But to be fair she probably only wanted that specific breed because they're expensive and she's rich and likes to show off her wealth, and an elegant looking purebred dog is a fun way to do that I guess...

Regardless, the dog is really pretty and has a fun personality.

I agree. There's no reason anyone should own a pit bull. Also whenever you go to a shelter it's always like 3/4 pit bull mixes, pit bull owners are just really irresponsible, trashy people typically. I'm not a fan of dobermans either but they're not quite so bad.

Dobermans are dope af, especially the western European working lines. I'm not as keen on the American show lines. I find them too lean and their temperaments are watered down, but that's probably a good thing for owners with less experience or commitment t training and exercise. All the Dobes I've met have been good dogs, even the ones that are just pets, with responsible owners.

Dobermans—even those from backyard breeders—are rather expensive, which filters out the irresponsible, trashy people. Run of the mill pit bulls are a dime a dozen, particularly in poor neighborhoods. The majority of dogs in shelters and on CraigsList are also pits or pit-mixes. A person could very easily spend <$200 on a pit bull, but it's much, much harder to get a Doberman, GSD, English Mastiff, etc. for such a price. I have no doubt in my mind the easy access people have to pits is a contributing factor to many pit bull attacks.

Lastly, I think dangerous/guarding breeds primarily known for their intelligence (Dobermans, GSDs, Schnauzers, etc.) attract more responsible owners than dangerous breeds primarily known for their strength (pit bull-type dogs, and Rottweilers although they're indisputably one of the smartest breeds), partly because of the difference in priorities.

When I was younger my family got a pug basically on accident (were supposed to take care of it for a month for a friend, somehow that turned into like 8 years), and holy shit. They are the most disgusting fucking abominations. I'm not sure there's a type of animal on earth that I find more distasteful.
