So long story short I got roaches from a dirty ass family that moved in downstairs. They finally got kicked out due to several reasons but we still got roaches. Problem is I have a hedgehog and the roaches love being in his cage cause of all the bedding and the open food and water. I need a safe way to make sure they don't get into his cage so no sprays or dust. I was thinking about like a line of duct tape around his cage so they get stuck on the tape when trying to climb in and maybe some glue traps. Also if anyone has ideas for some way to have the food and water contained but still accessible that'd be great. Kinda like a feeder of some sorts that he can easily access, I've tried making some but they dont work.
I'm working on the rest of the house, I just don't want them in his cage while I do the rest of the house. The landlord called an exterminator but that guy was fucking useless

There's been a lot of hedgehogs on here lately. Maybe Chihuahua anon has ruined me but I'm starting to think we only have one or two hog owners.
Duct tape and putting his cage somewhere higher seems promising.

Move the cafe higher and away from any heat sources that are easily accessible to the roaches. Buy some Advion Syngenta Cockroach Gel and apply it wherever you have seen a roach. Then practice your maniacal evil overlord laugh when you see roaches turning in circles cause they are poisoned and dying.

Also try getting one of those flee traps that's a round bowl with sticky tap and a light bulb on the top, it's really good at getting roaches ime
