What are some exotic pet blogs? I'd like to read about people owning squirrels, prairie dogs, hyenas, kangaroos, etc. The good and bad, mostly bad. It somewhat satisfies me to see people with foxes get stressed out.
Also exotic thread, I guess. Sugar gliders and ferrets allowed.
I've raised virginia opossums and grey squirrels(under a wildlife rehabber walking me through) and had a short tailed opossum. STP are neat but not very interactive. Less than sugar gliders which I currently own but he was super chill as long as you moved slowly. They don't live very long.
I've thought about owning some type of squirrel like a flying squirrel or prairie dogs but I'm a lot less interested in exotics since you can just get better out of other pets normal in the pet trade. I can't see myself owning something like a fox or coyote unless I went back into rehab, had the space to just let them live out their life after being dumped.
mainly the groups are on Facebook. i own 2 flying squirrel a prairie dog and short tailed opossum. the prairie dog requires a ton of attention

How is the flying squirrel? I've only read good things about them but I have a friend who had a captive one from when it was a baby and she said he never really warmed up.
How is your P-dog? What are they like compared to cuddly animals like ferrets?
So what bear would make the best pet? Sun Bears or Spectacled Bears? And how much would they have to be shrunk down?
