Three month old killer whale calf, the last to have been born before the orca breeding ban, is kill.
Supposedly she was being treated for an infection, but her condition deteriorated within several days and she stopped eating entirely.

Also, this is what her grandmother currently looks like. She suffers from a bunch of infections as well and her skin is pretty much being eaten away by some bacterial stuff that doesn't respond to any antibiotics.
Doesn't seem like she has much longer.

It's probably too much to filter in too small a space. Kind of like how keeping a couple of comet goldfish in a 20 gallon will result in issues and a short life span

Is anyone really surprised? I hope she's better off not suffering anymore and that her mother isn't grieving too hard. Sea World can't be feeling near the pain she does.
