I played this on my phone last year or two years ago when simulators were popular and heard it somehow came out on PS4.
It's a train wreck and short but I think it's hilarious to play. Was playing it on an adroid and it oddly has a large, 'perfect world' multiplayer here you can pick to play as different animals to wreck everyone up. Has a chat and it's full of roleplayers but I played as an 'immortal' chicken to where my health was too high for anyone to kill me and upped my speed that no one could kill me. It's fun if you have absolutely nothing better to do.


A real open world animal multiplayer would be pretty boss.
I always thought it would be cool to have an RPG as a street cat or some shit. Get quests from rats, pigeons, dodge cars, dogs, die or get adopted at the end and get some sweet moves to navigate rooftops. The Warrior Cats fandom is somehow still alive.

Or a Redwall or Watership Down game. Stake out your territory, build a warren, etc. I'm having some beginner success with pixel rpg in Unity but I can barely begin into 3D.

And while I don't consider this an animal game, I had fun with infinite spawning cougars Red Dead Redemption and in Undead Nightmare you can hunt cryptids, get the four horses of the apocalypse and a unicorn as a mount. I spent most my time just hunting and surviving infinite respawns without standing on a carriage.

Fucking hell I've been trying to figure out the name of this game for over a decade.

It doesn't look completely familiar to me but I remember the magnifying glass and the vet room. It might not be it but I also remember actually being able to go outside and find a wild animal that you had to bring back.

I also played the Dreamcast one and my controls may have been inverted but it was gigantic pain in the ass yet how I somehow beat this before I was in the double digits along with The Lion King. Tyto ecology kept me interested for about 18 hours.

Somewhat similar to Zoo Tycoon, except not at all. But if you ever made massive parks in ZT without any actual enclosures, but instead animals roaming the entire plot, with the desire for it to make some sort of "balanced" ecosystem, you would probably be entertained by Tyto Ecology for a while.
