Bamboo is a remarkable plant for growing very fast. They eat bamboo areas faster than it grows.

Pandas are no longer endangered and are flourishing from rapid breeding rates and birth rates because a lot of their wildlife habitat has been restored

Panda's produce nothing, we have enough videos/pictures/merchandise of them, they can just be deleted from the planet now and everybody would be cool with it in like a week.

This, pandas also on average fuck more times in a day during their heat than other bears, something like a dozen times a day. They have no problem reproducing in the wild, their issue was actually getting to each other because of segmented habitat. There are many animals bad at breeding in captivity, even worse than pandas. And there's more to it than them just being dumb. There's behavioral and chemical issues at work

Pandas aren't just dumb, they're suicidal to the point where if not for human intervention they'd have died out long ago.

They are meat eaters, and still have the digestive system of a meat eater. But for some reason they wont eat meat. Bamboo already has almost no nutritional value, and the Pandas body is poorly adapted at extracting anything from it, I think I read one figure that said they can digest about 30% of the bamboo they eat.
This change in diet was so catastrophic it should have wiped out the species. They get so little energy from eating bamboo they have to eat none stop otherwise they'll starve to death. The lack of energy also means Pandas entire habits changed and they wont do a lot of things anymore (like move around much, or even walk up hills, it just uses too much energy).
These two things combined mean Pandas just don't breed anymore. Not only do they not have the time to, but they don't have the energy to either. Pandas trying to breed can literally result in them starving to death.

If you want an idea of how much bamboo a Panda has to eat to survive, they shit on average of 40+ times a day. A pandas life is eating and shitting, the moment they stop they die.
