Getting one in a few days. I have a tank all set up but info is scarce out there. Any stories/pics to share?

we have both an aquarium and an invertebrate general thread and you somehow managed to not find both of them and make a new thread instead, congrats

You don't need to use the generals for everything fuckhead.

>/aqg/ has several people who keep crayfish
>hurr need muh own special snowflake thread
i had Procambarus fallax forma virginalis but it died because i put him outdoors and the aquarium got too much sunlight so that water temperature rose too much unfortunately
I had an aquarium with a turtle and crayfish for a while. Sold the turtle. Didn't clean the tank for like a year. Finally emptied the tank. Crayfish was still alive and about the size of a sunglass case
Make sure you have a tight-fitting lid. I have lost all of my crawdads to James Bond-style escapes, where they climb up using airlines, or seemingly levitate themselves out of the tank, and dry up on the floor.
