Pic is a female roe deer with some kind of hormonal condition. Pretty neat

most of the ones I have were found in the woods. Best thing I have is an alligator snapping turtle's skull that my brother found. The turtle this skull came from probably was over 100lbs

I think that's a sort of bone cancer type thing that some deer get in their antlers. It is usually triggered by hormonal problems though

I do when I can but actually buying bones is expensive
This was a boar my uncle killed and after the semi mummified head sat outside our barn forever, I cleaned it up

Sometimes but I sold off most of my collection and now what I buy is usually to resell. I rarely keep anything I could get any time and am pretty cheap when buying. I've gotten large, complete symmetrical four horn ram skulls for $80-100 only to resell them for $300-500.

Kinda salty about having to sell some 'unique' items but I'm the go-to for my friends who want something that isn't just whitetail antlers and coyote skulls.

A good tip is to buy raw carcasses. You can get bear, wolf and cougar skulls dirt cheap if you are willing to clean them yourselves. Learn tanning and wild foxes and coyotes can be even cheaper but that takes a lot more prep.
I've seen some anteaters, fossas, kinkajous, albino kangaroos and whatnot go by and drove me nuts I didn't have the freezer space.
