I think I'm going to be adopting a cat on Thursday. Preferably want a kitten but might get an older one on hopes it'll Already be litter trained. If the cat is 1 year old will it still form a deep bond with me like it would if I raised it from a kitten?

Oh God don't get me started, down the street some asshole thinks letting his german Shepard and Rottweiler roam the neighborhood is fine. 3 houses down I heard screaming today, stupid dogs were romping in a little kiddy pool while the kids ran screaming for their parents.

I pray to god that somehow, those idiot dogs get hit.

Yes. Just look for a friendly, social cat, it doesn't matter what age you get them at. I've known cats raised from kittens that didn't care much about their owners and senior cats that bonded straightaway a week after adoption.

My old cat is getting arthritis shots and she got her claws clipped. Now she's playful like she was when she was young. Warms my heart. Take care of your kitties!
