What is this double-decked bug?
There are many of them in our backyard (where there are many plants).

Are they pests? Will they destroy the plants?

Yeah they're weevils. They're greedy little buggers and will eat all your wheat products if you don't get them sorted out. They are pests and I'm pretty sure they would eat your plants.

No, they're not fucking weevils. Those have snouts that can literally not be mistaken for anything else.

Thank you. If they really are Lagria villosa, they are considered pests, according to what I've read. They must be eating some of our plants, but the damage isn't noticeable yet.
They are getting more numerous and I think I'll have to kill some of them. I wish I didn't have to. They aren't pretty, but they look so inoffensive. :(
