I dropped a nug on the floor and picked up what I thought was the nug but it turned out to be a dead, curled up spider. This isn't the first time this has happened. My basement has tons of spiders. I accidentally smoked a spider once before. I mean, what if it's poisonous? I tried googling but "smoking dead spiders" doesn't bring back any results relevant to my queries.

What species? I would avoid anything with a hemorrhagic or necrosis causing poison in your experiments as your lungs are both full of bad places to bleed an or be necrotic. Maybe start off with nurotoxic spiders if you are looking for a buzz. I would smoke cautiously, if the numbness is more than a little hold off on your next hit while noting the lenght of the effect, take notes. I find the common harvesmen is nice pinned live to a hot crackrock, its really the burning legs an the flailing for me, reminds me of my own self destruction and frailty.

No spider is poisonous. Nearly all of them are venomous though. Aside from potentially contracting some shit from whatever bacteria or pesticides are on/in them you've little to worry about in terms of being envenomated unless you've got a mouth cut or something. I do however hope you pick one that's not quite dead up and it bites you for being a dumbass though.
