I had an aquarium with several crabs and one of them died (probably during the night). I thought it was male based on several guides but I noticed that under its abdomen there were some eggs.
Is there a way for them to survive or they are done for? Do they need something aside some good ventilation or not being infected by any shit (until they turn into larvae)? I'd like to know because I wanted to have more of them and they are probably difficult as fuck to get in the wild.
Pic related is the species. And it was exactly like this except more orange.
When i was a kid my dad told us we were going out for chinese. We get to the parking lot and we see about four large fully cooked crabs thrown on the ground. My dad picks it up and makes start eating it. People were looking at me like I was disgusting and my dad was there looking at me like he wanted to kick my ass.
