I watched this hummingbird land on my pool heater. He looked distraught and even let me touch him. I stood next to him for about 5 minutes until he flew away to a nearby tree. Can anyone tell me more about him? Any cool facts about the worlds cutest birds are appreciated as well.

Don't know much but if I were you I would set up a hummingbird feeder, though I would be sure to make sure to check for mantises

I've had a couple drunk hummingbirds land in my back yard a couple months ago - apparently they've been drinking fermented sugar water somehow and were super loopy.
kept them warm for the night and gave them some clean sugar water they drank right out of the syringe and released them the next morning - they ended up nesting in my dracaenas, which led to me getting a feeder and then even more hummingbirds nesting.
Birds may stop moving when distraught or feel like they are in danger
Dont touch birds or any animal like a mouse whom does nothing and let you touch it
