Last month i had to put my first cat down due to him having FIP.
A few weeks ago i adopted a new cat and long story short, compared to my first, this one's a bit of a cunt. She's about the same age as my first, round 2 months old, how can i get her to not be such a cunt?
Pic somewhat related, my first cat - my lil nigga Spooky

It takes time for cats to adjust you impatient cunt. Get a box, put a blanket in it, and put it in a closet so it has a safe place to reduce anxiety. Start giving it treats by shaking the bag and getting it to come, also calling its name at the same time so it learns that. Play with her every day and when she's more comfortable with you try picking her up and setting her on your lap so she gets accustomed to it.
Also be attentive to the cat's body language. Ears pointed back and tail flicking means stay the fuck away. Let her smell your finger every time before petting her to reduce anxiety.
Good luck, it'll come around eventually.

Oh and sorry about you losing your first cat... but you're still an impatient cunt.
It took a while for my two kittens to like me; like months. And the one is an adult now and still isn't particularly friendly toward me and seems to just tolerate me.

I've done literally all of that and more, i havent treated her any differently than the first.
She follows me around the house and whatnot but as far as petting her, she just freaks out and starts biting and scratching and shit.

I feel like maybe im holding her to too high of a standard because even my first cat wasnt receptive of me at first, but once we bonded i couldnt get away from him. Also unlike her, he adapted to my dog pretty quickly, too.
Like my first cat, she sleeps in my bed and everythijg, but my first cat used to headbutt me all the time, meanwhile this one barely lets me pet her. I can pick her up whenever though, which is weird.
Even weirder still, she chases her own tail. Ive never seen or heard of a cat doing this before, whats up with that?
