Not really sure where to put this because I don't think it'd go into the invert general or the plant page.
But I have this vermicompost system, and well this morning when I went to feed it I found a dead worm. Which would be pretty normal except it had a tumour, I don't know what could've caused it so does anyone here know what the fuck killed this worm?
Looks like a brown recluse bite

take it to the vet

thats some eraserhead shit
Looks like the clitellum is swollen. It's where eggs are stored, but it could have also been parasitised by something else. It's unlikely to be a tumour, and the only way you'd know is by dissection.

That's a mud dauber nest. If you cut the worm open, it will be filled with paralyzed spiders.

That happens when I have to pinch nightcrawlers too hard, otherwise if it's a disease I've never seen it. Dead worms in the cooler smell like the most rotten pussy you can imagine.

Now I'm curious, OP you better cut it open

It's pregnant
