Isn't the funnel-web spider the one that results in most deaths due to relative agression and strong venom compared to a black widow for example which is less inclined to actually bite you?

Of the spiders I've met where i live (west Michigan) the male wolf spider if it's just any day, but female wolf spiders when they have babies crawling around on their back are way more aggressive (defensive really but i didn't mean to scare her, the males lunge at humans moving away from them though, but didn't bite)

Oh yeah, and these fuckers, aka Orange Bitey Thing. I had a friend with one and he got bitten several times and had many close calls. I'll stick with my boring old rose hair T.

Pterinochilus murinus. Gotta agree with this since they're nasty. Can't imagine many other spiders would be so relentlessly aggressive to a human.
