use a reputable breeder like rainbow bearded dragons or Carolina classic dragons. usually sponsors on this page are more or less legit: http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&f=484&page=7&pp=25&sort=title&order=asc&daysprune=7&prefixid= (rainbow and Carolina are two of them)
you can also buy at a pet store or from one of the users on that site. be prepared to spend about 1000$ and pay a lot of power bills tho. they're not cheap if you take care of them properly. also require love food so you have to keep roaches crickets or superworms around depending on age etc. If you don't know much about them do a bunch of research and make sure you can make the commitment because a lot of people don't take care of them properly... just the other day I heard someone dragon died because their mom refused to take a lizard to the vet. probably suffered for a while too. you gotta have thermostats, multiple light bulbs, heat retetention while maintaining circulation (fans). And then their diet and their daily changes in preference for food... And they can live 10+ yrs. So it's definitely a commitment. You can leave them for Maybe up to five days or max before you have to get a dragonsitter
they are sweethearts though (usually). They're especially nice if you raise them from when they're really young but that's also a huge pain in the ass, so... Good luck! lol
Worth it for me, though. probably going to breed these two in the next year or so...
