*gets flushed*
>>2368323
its a fly u dumbfuck
>>2368323
dont flush the moth flies you evil bastard. they just want to be your friend
they are cute until you find the place where their larvas are living happily warmly wetly wiggly all together
No one has the drain fly anon screen cap from r9k?
>>2368833
i need this screen cap
>>2368323
You have to save all the drain flies you can because they're cute
er than you
>>2368861
>obsessed with hygiene
>shower daily
>clean whole apartment weekly or biweekly
>never have food around
>still infested with drainflies
>still have them bounce off my screen when I lie in bed on my phone just like drainfly anon described
I fucking hate this man, I don't know what to do.
>>2368865
Dump a pot of boiling water down each of your drains
>>2368865
I have a similar problem but with fucking roaches. I can't get rid of them since I live in an apartment building and my downstairs neighbors are fucking filthy, so I can never be truly rid of the sons of bitches. No matter how much I clean and keep food secured they still come out in droves and just make a nuisances of themselves. Calling an exterminator is pointless because I refuse to pay hundreds of dollars to clean out someone else's apartment.
>>2368881
It's the heat that'll kill them, not the water.
>>2368880
Get some IGR, it's what the exterminator puts down to keep them from reproducing.
>>2368898
Liquid plumber or bleach work too. They feed on bacteria in damp areas, so if you kill their food source they'll starve.
Its not these but always those stupid looking daddylong leg flies or whatever they are called that somehow end up in my bathroom
>>2368880
I know what you mean. I can't get rid of the drainflies because I share a kitchen and 2 bathrooms with 6 other people and they leave dirt everywhere. I clean the bathrooms and the kitchen constantly but it takes them half a day to shit everything up again. The drainflies never go into their apartments though, they always go into mine. It's driving me insane.
>>2368916
Is it abnormal to have craneflies in your house? I always have them in the summer. Think they're kinda cute.
>>2368921
It isn't weird for the occasional one to slip in when people go in and out the door, but if you have them showing up regularly in the bathroom that's a little weird. They're big and clumsy so it's not like they slip through cracks in the molding or whatever.
>>2368923
Don't you have windows in the bathroom?
>carpet beetle infestation
>have hardwood floors
>>2369625
Holy fuck I'm about to throw up
>>2369625
>>2368323
The best part of coming back from a deployment was knowing I wouldn't have to put up with these little shits until the next time I deployed.
>>2369625
Every time I see this I just feel so bad for the fucking landlord. That house must be a complete loss.
>>2369852
Weird innit?
>>2368323
Finally managed to clear my bathroom of these after 3 months. Fuckers are impossible to kill. Anon's, never have a shower with a 2 part sliding door, curtains ONLY. The roller-tracks give them way too many nooks and crannies to hide in
>>2368323
Do these things unclog your drains? Do they spread germs? are they like the slugs on forest trails that eat the nasty dog poo and clean it up for us?
>>2369625
>when it gets to the sour cream
>>2368918
Time to take your green thumb out of your ass and make nature handle your problem.
Dude, you woke up? I'm just chilling on a wall over your bed for now. Don't worry.
>>2369625
Gets me every fucking time.
>>2372719
These are actually a good guys... I dont want to smash them and always feel bad afterwards.
>>2372701
These things only develop in clogged drains. Or if your pipes are shit like the ones in my old house. And no, they're more likely to clog the pipes even worse, they're like mosquitoes in stale water.
One way to know if you have them if to pump the water in your sink with a plunger.
>>2372788
HOW ARE THEY GOOD GUYS
I just killed one this morning :(
>>2369625
good to see I'm paying taxes to keep this wonderful man alive :^)
>>2372788
Trick to these men is that they are super sensitive to light. I know this because they would hang out in my shower room all the time and whenever I would turn the light on they would scurry under the old trimming in the bathroom. When I lived out in the country, they would come in to my house every fall and spring. they have a lot of legs, but they are pretty ineffectual. I once trapped on in a plastic bin and he couldn't climb out of it. Left him in there to scare away the spider, but he starved eventually. RIP Bill, you will not be forgotten.
>>2373116
they are only in your house to eat roaches and stuff in the house. they only eat other invertebrates, so they wouldn't be there if they weren't giving you free pest control
>>2373124
Oh ok I'll never kill one again.
>>2373116
They eat bad insects :O Pretty harmless to humans but looks gross to most.
>>2373124
Unfortunately for them I still classify them as pest.
I give them and Spiders a sort of "Batman" policy. Don't let me physically see you. I will kill you if I do, but if you manage to get away (which hilariously enough they manage sometimes) I will not actively try to spray/drive you out.
>>2373124
I just gluetrap them all and let God sort it out
these guys are actually very water proof even in their adult state. They won't get drowned so easily by getting hit by water droplets.
>>2373142
Wash your nuts and clean your drain.
Smegma removal is also a good idea.
>>2373937
W-what?
