Inb4 some fag tries to say dinosaurs had feathers
>>2366580
O shit
look what you did
rwar mutha fokkors
I'm okay with dinosaurs having feathers because I think the Skirmishers from Halo look cool.
>>2366580
It makes sense for dinos to have feathers, at least for the theropods, because birds came from them. Maybe on pteros too, since they could fly, but i guess they were more bat-like in terms of skin. But putting feathers on sauropods, stegosaurids, etc, is kinda dumb.

How do we know dinosaurs weren't just alive skeletons?

Thanks man
Purussaurus is underrated as fuck
It is the largest caiman and the third largest crocodylomorph we know of in earth's history
Also it looks kawaii with its big round snout
Would be perfect for a pixar character
>>2367857
>third
Who's the second?
>>2367912
Deinosuchus was second longest crocodylomorph
Purassaurus Deinosuchus and Sarcosuchus are tied for heaviest crocodylomorph
>>2367929
neat. Do these guys count as crocodylomorphs too? They don't seem to be included in the pic measuring Sarchosuchus and its river pals that is on the wikipedia.
>>2368228
this one
>>2368228
Yeah, Machimosaurus is a crocodylomorph too according to google
I haven't heard of this guy before
He must be a recently discovered species
Wow, I have never dropped by this board but I don't think I'll bother again. Postosuchus is a Rauisuchian not a dinosaur so I don't know why this thread is full of arguments about feathers but on that note you have to be an idiot to be whining about feathers on dinosaurs. If you don't think dinosaurs have feathers then you need to take a step outside and spot one of 10,000 extant species of literal dinosaur covered in feathers and then promptly shut your fucking trap dipshit.
>>2368243
fuck off with that Reddit talk you feathercuck.
>>2368249
Why are you even here if you know squat diddly about anything let alone paleolife. Fuck off with your inability to read, examine, think, function, analyze, or do even the most minute operation beyond breathing and being aggressively self important about your stupidity
>>2368249
Think you're so good at paleontology, why don 't you suck my pelvic bone?
>>2368249
Cuck? Did you learn a new word on the 4chans you sap-sucking little ingrate? You dumb dumb dumb guy.
>>2368255
It's heard the word "pelvic bone" and makes innuendos. Why don't you put a bullet in your orbital fenestra.

Of course YOU would think recognizing an obvious and simple self evident fact that was not otherwise telegraphed or beguiling would make you a winner. What a fucking retard you are.
Why the fuck is it so hard to keep up with paleontology?
>Love Brontosaurus as a child
>Suddenly I learn Brontosaurus wasn't a thing and hasn't been for a while and that it's just Apatosaurus with the wrong skull
>Then skip forward to 2015 and apparently Brontosaurus might be a thing again
>Read somewhere that Triceratops might have just been an adolescent Torosaurus
>Didn't even know what a Torosaurus was until now
>Yale researchers then call bullshit on it and Triceratops and Torosaurus are different species again
>The clusterfuck that is the skeletal arrangement of Spinosaurus over the years
I mean I guess it kind of just drives it home that we'll never 100% know everything about paleo life, but still.
>>2368272
fuck brontosaurus. apatosaurus forever

Wasn't there some weird giant filter feeding croc that lived around the same time as Purrusaurus? Can't remember the name, but the fucker was around the same size and had weird teeth that looked like baleen. It was basically a scaly river whale.

Why are hadrosaurs so shitty compared to other dinos?
