I could never keep them alive when I was a kid.
I have 3 plants for years. What do you want to know?
Oh look, a thread dedicated to plants that's 90% carnivorous plants already.

Don't let it rot because of constant moisture
>>2364266
What became of that creature?
These are my plants now. I have decided to let them flourish. This year I will have a lot of seeds.
>>2364726
it got nom nom nom'd
>>2364895
Do you actually have to breed insects to feed them?
No, I use a cotton swab
>>2364902
All of it? Mine don't even fully digest a large fly before they open up again.
>>2364924
Sorry, I got distracted and I thought we were talking about pollinating. I usually give them ants I find. They never digest the whole insect, only the juices.
>>2364906
Just stick em near open windows, the flies just kys themselves on them. Never fed my flytrap and its doing fine.
>>2365427
My mother is an obsessive cleaner, I have to look for ants in the street. XD
>>2364895
Very cool, I've never let mine flower because I've always heard it takes a lot out of them
The three plants have bloomed, now I will pollinate them.
I've heard some people say if you can't find bugs for a flytrap to just give em pieces of ham and they can live on that. Is this true?
>>2368090
Yeah they can digest anything small enough. Food isn't really needed at all though. They can survive off the few soil nutrients in peat just fine.
>>2368090
>can't find bugs
how retarded can you be?
>>2364673
How to best take care of them and placement in or outside a house.
>>2365427
Huh that's cool.
Think I might get one. There's a lot of stagnant water around my place and the flies and mosquitoes bother me a lot.
>>2368090
they do not need flies at all
>>2364261
I had one once. I think they died of overfeeding.
>>2364726
probably this
>>2368112
Mine are inside of my house. There is a lot of light but not direct sun or extremely temperatures. I water them with distilled water when I see the under plate dry.
Apparently they make underwater versions of these now.

Nature only uses clever designs
>>2364702
Yeah, but GENERALS suck
>>2368915
Actually, only the clever designs survive
