How did /an/'s Discord server grow that big and fast? I know a little of it is because of a small /out/ contingent, but it's clear as day that the majority of it have /an/ as a main board or close secondary. Even some generals are now linking to channel-specific invites in the same server.

When they first made /out/, there was a slight ripple of discontent in /an/ because people knew it would take away some users of an already small board. /out/ should be changed to /gearfag/. now I think /out/ wouldn't want to be merged with anything, just as /an/ wouldn't want to be merged with anything.
