My cat is pretty skinny.
He's a one year old siberian neutered male weighing 4,4 kg.
I feed him grain-free wet food as a base, with some dry food as a supplement because I was given a 20 kg bag as a gift when I got him.
I've tried a couple different wet foods, as well as making home made raw cat food. I occasionally try to give him little bits of different meats or fish, either raw (which he generally won't touch) or boiled without salt (which he'll eat, sometimes).
He eats very little though, and the vet said he should probably weigh a bit more for his size. Any tips on making him eat more?
Make your own jerky. cats like jerky, and it's healthier than the shit from the supermarket.
Take strips of brisket and marinade them without salt, pop them in the oven at 175 for about four hours.
stupid but how hot is your climate?
maybe your long hair cat is having a trouble with your climate.
how is he reacting to opened freezer/fridge?
will he play with an ice cube if you toss it to him?
what about those drug store bruise help cold source pouches?

If he's not malnourished, leave him alone.
post the kitter OP
Do a blood test, maybe he needs a fish oil as a supplement.
