Love having sea and mountain where I live, I honestly think it is truly a privilege.
Any anons here living in similar territories?

You better appreciate it then.
My village is one hour from the Alps and 30 minutes from the sea.
Best region ever.

Yes, though I'd love to move to a coastal fog desert
I'm in the San Fernando Valley so not really, but if you head north, there are places where the costal redwood forests go right up to the Pacific Ocean. It's the best of both worlds.

sea and mountains and a giant stone cock statue

Can't say I do, unfortunately. The closest thing to it is that I live about 45 minutes away from Lake Erie. I could kinda use a bit less water though, desu. The former Black Swamp has way too much rain, and living in the southern half of my state for college isn't much drier.
I live near Dallas, Texas. It's like Sea & Mountain.
I live in a mountainous area with a lot of Pennsylvania Dutch folk, it's cozy. Horse drawn carriages and everything out here.I don't think I could do beaches though, don't you get a lot of tourists?

>Pennsylvania Dutch folk
you mean those hateful medieval peasants the amish and mennonites?

It's not a favela for now fortunately, there are few houses, it's in a state protected natural reserve called 'Barra de Guaratiba" where people go hiking and there are hidden beaches, it's a nice place.
My parents bought a house in there when we went to Rio for the Olympic games, it's now a summer house for when they're in vacation

They're nice here, the ones in ohio are the dicks. These guys just like to farm and hold groundhog society meetings, n inform college students about their art. Only about 20-30% of them are Mennonite. We never see or hear from the Amish comm.
The Amish are always asses though.

Isn't it illegal to build houses in protected reserves?
