My doggo has really bad anxiety and seperation anxiety. When my Mum leaves for work she sits on the couch all day long looking out the window waiting on her and cries and won't eat.
How do I comfort my dog when this happens?

Is there any way you can get another pet for her? I wouldn't want your doggo to be so stressed out that it starts having negative physical effects
Should probably talk to a vet or any other specialist in dogs and ask for advice.
have you tried treats? Honestly I would reccomend using the time in the morning to really tire the dog out so she spends most of the day sleeping. Look into flirt poles, they are great to get a dog exhausted with minimal effort

When my doggo was young we had to get a big crate for him when we would leave the house because he would rip up everything. (He grew out of it and we don't use the crate anymore).
He started to wine all the time and hated when we left. We got a cheap big plastic wind up clock that made a loud ticking noise and wrapped it in a blanket and put it in his crate with him.
It seemed to calm him down, he would cuddle up against it and wine less.
TL;DR
Get a clock or something to simulate a heartbeat. It might help and clocks are cheap.
