So every morning I leave the trimmings and bones on a plate in my backyard so the neighborhood cats come and eat. Most are hardened street cats but one in particular is a bit young and I would like to take him in. He looks like pic related and is very skittish, I've made eye contact with him but I cant beckon him closer.
I'm a dog person so I really don't know what to do, but I'd like to rehabilitate this cat. Any tips?
Taking care of this cat will be a massive undertaking and it probably will be very skittish and potentially aggressive after rehab.
Leave out your traditional scraps, but have a can of tuna ready. Try to bait him in that

Be slow, use treats, but most importantly look into cat body language. You don't want to stare at the cat and make him feel threatened. He will probably need vat care which may cost a bit.

Best of luck Anon.
I live downtown in a major Ohio city, so you could say I live in a medium to large village I guess.
my THICCC qt3.17gf has family in redneckistan so we have to drive there every so often. I will rarely see a cat that hasn't been mowed down by a redneck in a GM 1500 Excursion who is playing farmville while driving.
My question: since these felines are spooked af famalami, how do I safely get them into my car so that I can rehabilitate them?
I was thinking some sort of tranquilizer to knock them out, but by that time they'll have ran off. Should I use bear mace to knock them out? I know it's painful, but I would imagine it works immediately.
Thanks and praise pupper.
