>>2352254
That bird is dead.

>>2352330
This. Put it back where you found it ASAP.
Wow that bird has sticky feet
>>2352254
Some sort of quail/partridge
>>2352392
Why what is it? It looks like some unloved chicken without a comb.
>>2352392
Why!?
I'm currently feeding the mystery bird toast and uncooked rice.
Hmmmmmmm
>>2352491
Buy dried mealworms at a pet feed store instead. The dried rice expands and kills it
>>2352481
Because it needs to fulfill its vital role in the fragile ecosystem of your paved and cat-filled neighborhood.
>>2352491
DRIED RICE KILLS IT PUT IT BACK YOU FUCKING RETARD HOLY SHIT IT CAN FEED ITSELF ITS PAREWNTS CAN FFED IT
The thumbnail looks like your holding a decapitated bird head. The head looks like a beak and the eye is the nostril
That's a chicken mate
>>2352682
>wild animals
straight up retarded
>>2352682
Probably has something to do with it being wrong.

Because this is the time of the year when birds have their babies, and that bird has kind of a young vibe to it. It's also that time of the year when /an/ gets a lot of threads where random anons pop in to post "I found this baby bird, what should I do" threads, instead of leaving the animals in the nature so that their parents can feed them.
I'm kinda wondering if that particular bird is a weird-looking chicken that ran off from someone's yard, though. Can chickens lack that fleshy red part on top of their head? I thought they all have it.
I can't identify the bird. It seems to belong to Galliformes, but I'm not sure what species is it exactly.
