What do you guys prefer? Saying goodbye as the vet puts them to sleep? Or keeping them at home till the very end? I know the vet route seems most humane, but my cats hate the vet and I'd hate for them to die in a place they hate.

I would simply bring the vet to my place.

This way my buddy can die while being in his comfy bed chewing on his favorite bone in the living room as I watch TV, for one last time, as he sleeps into nothingness.

;_; I literally just dropped a tear writing this, I don't think I'll be able to take it when it's time. I'll go full faggot and scream while crying, which is an other reason to do it at home and not in front of the whole vet clinic staff and pet owners.

Been thinking about this a lot lately. I've had my cats since I was an early teen, which was a very awkward and crappy time for me. Now both have turned 7 years old and I can't stop thinking about their eventual demise

My dog just died this past night. I've had him since I was 7, am 21 now. I've been numb all day, it's really unbareable. He was the cutest, playful, most affectionate dog ever. I will post a few pics of him throughout the years.
