Let's change that. Starting off with obligatory platybelodons.
>>2346431
eurypterid bump
A lot of them were just animals we have today, but 10x bigger.
>tfw ywn ride a horse sized dragonfly through lush swamps.
>>2347268
they never got horse sized
>>2347350
Those reptile-mammals from the Permian are cool
>>2347380
They're so strange.
>>2347382
For sure. One of those evolutionary links
>>2347387
It really speaks to just how much life on Earth has grown and developed. They look so primitive but had their own ecosystems and niches and struggles.
>>2347394
Yep i have to wonder how they would develop if the Triassic extinction never happened
>>2347397
I would be interested to see what kind of sizes and complexities they could've evolved. But I guess, we'll never know. Besides, even though they're comfy animals, they'll never match the glory of the reign of Dinosaurs.
>>2347406
We don't know that for sure. Who knows how they could've evolved
>>2347382
>from the day we arrived, on the planet~
God tier Helicoprion
>>2347422
Maybe, but I believe that Theropods are the peak of predator aesthetic.
>>2347627
This
>>2347406
Possibly a Cenozoic like era would have began in the Jurassic, instead of the age of the dinosaurs
Creatures could have evolved similar in superficial appearance to what evolved in the Cenozoic, but with some reptilian features, which would make them look strange and exotic to us
>tfw can never learn the english names for anything
My favorite is that thing which lived in that era
>This is the next big thing since feathers and quadruped spinosaurus
>>2347693
>theropods
>Ornithischia
>thinking theropods are more closely related to ceratopsians than sauropods
>>2347655
FOUR EWE
>>2347736
From what i get, their reasoning is
>Sauropods don't have evidence of feathers but some Theropods and early Ornithischians did
>Skull and anatomic features assumed to be basal between theropods and ornithischians aren't
>>2347693
That study ignored alot of basal dinosaurs, and put too much emphasis on Herrasaurus
Will they ever bring back this game?
It's gone permanently
>>2347757
I think you can torrent it somewhere but its pretty unstable.
>>2347798
looking on the internet, I've found out that a person requested BBC to bring back the game, but they never replied to him
Could 4chan organise somehow to bring the game back?
Since BBC ignored this one guy, if heaps of people sent BBC requests, do you think they'll bring it back?
>>2347848
I highly doubt it but you never know
>>2347848
Well I say we get to work
>>2347873
I've signed and commented

Thank you, friend-o

I really have trouble understanding how a species like that could possibly survive. That whole mouth seems so counter-intuitive do doing just about anything.
>>2348800
The bottom jaw teeth are for digging up roots I think
>>2346431
Did Anomalocaris live in a Pelagic biome or a Benthic biome?
>>2348800
>That whole mouth seems so counter-intuitive do doing just about anything.
Seems pretty perfect for scooping.
My lil lizard boys
