I used to do this to my roommates cat all the time but with just hands; he loved it. Then when a friend had his little pupper over, I tried doing the same thing with it but even gentler, and the pupper freaked out and pissed itself and another roommates pupper got angry with me.

He's 4. He never drags his feet, and is completely impossible to push over (my other dog makes a valiant attempt to do so). He always trips when he walks up the stairs, though.

The vet gave him a clean bill of health 2 months ago, but I could bring it up next visit.

I had to watch over two cats this one time, one being friendly but the other being the single most reclusive cat on earth, running and hiding in the corner under the table the instant I went into the room. Even using treats as bait I couldn't even get near it, the only exception being when it was on the scratch pad.
