Hello /an/, I want to know if this snail has any possibility of surviving this much shell damage. I can see internal organs: what I assume is the heart beating. I don't want him to suffer so I think that I should euthanize him. I want to be sure there's nothing to be done first though.

Boil hard surface.
Let hard surface cool.
Glue hard surface to remainder of shell.
Snail keeps on snailing.

Use an egg shell to cover it and keep it in a humid environment. As long as it doesn't dry out, it can heal. And clean it too using clean or sterile (better), water but don't use any chemicals. Chemicals contacting the broken area can kill it.

Clean off gunk and wet napkin on exposed area might work.

I used to raise racing snails. put it in a small/hermit crab like plastic bug terrarium with coconut fiber that's been mixed with water in a bowl and drain out access water so it's wet but not too mushy. put it as the bedding and cover at least two inches. hang a cuttlefish bone (same one for parakeets).and hang it from the top of the tank. give it carrots and any snail safe food that's calcium rich. whatever you do DON'T PUT BAND-AID OR GAUZE ON THE SHELL. I hope it survives. good luck.
for snails this small you can't simply glue it back on. don't put anything on the shell and as soon as it's put into it's small humid enclosure do not touch it. just don't put anything on the shell
