Guinea pigs and fish. Literally nothing else except maybe spiders.

Most pets are good pets that's why they're called pets.
Hamsters suck though.
If you want rodents, I'd say you should get some rats.

From what I've heard from everyone I know who's owned a hamster, they're experts at suicide.

hey man herps are cool. don't get caught up on the overrated snakes. lizards, frogs, and salamanders are great.
About to get a sugar glider. They seem pretty easy.

You have to get more than one because they get stressed being alone. They also make noise at night and make a fucking mess when they eat and are a little musky so I got rid if then when I was a kid. Plus they fucked like Mexicans who needed government money so I sold the babies for video games though.

I know but I unfortunately can't get another one. I received one in a rescue situation and I live in a state where they aren't allowed so I can't get another one and I can't give it to a shelter or something or else they'll just euthanize it. I'm just dedicated to spending extra time with it since I don't do anything anyway

Make cute noises, otherwise suck. Skittish animals aren't good pets.

"Herps" don't make sense as a category. "Herps" is a social construct.
Objective scientific evidence shows clearly that snakes are more related to parrots than they are to frogs.

Then best of luck to you if you think you can maintain him, they can be sweet and sociable but that's not always the case.
