Nothing really expensive, multiple dogs I have had over the years tend to ruin my bikes.
Actually my whole family hated my bikes, my family would ride it and leave it outside or my father would hate it taking up room in the shed and leave it outside.

Most my dog did was chew the mudguards, brakes or handle bars but leaving the bikes out in the rained ruined them.

I was gifted a €300 mountain bike that some fat dude was going to use to get in shape but rode it once.
I got it in the winter and was going to wait until the summer until I was going to ride it but my father left it outside because it was taking up room and the dog ate most of it.

Thankfully his latest dog eat his lawn mower cord and right after he replaced it he ate it again.

Dad prefers to shoot our animals as opposed to a lethal injection by vet. It was always instant (he's an excellent shot, particularly from 1m away kek) and he could ensure the animal was relaxed until the end, rather than in a strange place on a cold metal table.

Our labrador thought she was hunting in the bush (woods) again, was walking around sniffing and wagging her tail, despite her pain and limp.

Dad only refuses to shoot horses for this purpose. He finds it a little traumatic, I suppose.
