There are many species of bees, that are endangered or threatened.
The problem comes from people not knowing anything and failing to realize that there are thousands of different kinds of bees, only one of which is the european honeybee that people keep.

Honeybees are seeing huge annual losses due to disease, parasites, pesticides and other causes but they're nowhere near extinction because they are essentially livestock.

Wasps & hornets are pretty misunderstood on their own, though. They aren't THAT aggressive, and they're important for pollination too.
