They have one for sale a few miles from me in an exotic reptile shop (England). It's such a stunning animal but you need a license to keep it obviously.
They also have a Mangrove snake in a vivarium on the counter which is also beautiful, an alligator for Ā£2000 which has a turtle in its enclosure. Pretty cool.

>you need a license to keep it obviously.
>you need a license to keep it legally.
I've met a couple convicted felons in the US that keep gaboons/rhinos. Only need a license if you get caught. You're way more likely to get killed than caught.

evolution isn't real... In the beginning, GOD created the heavens and the earth, then on day 6, he created land animals. Its really not hard to understand.
>>2324888
what don't you need a license for in england?
>>2324989
It's doing it from two sides though, and a snake is basically all muscle; so it kinda makes sense

Gorgeous animal.
so I've never owned a reptile before, but I've always taken great care of my pets and have always wanted a tube dude so I'm gonna do it this summer. What kind would you guys reccomend? Preferably something medium/small that I don't need to feed giant mice or anything
>>2326497
Western Hognose.
They don't get large, feed easy, grow slow, do well in low humidity.
>>2326497
well you're going to have to feed a snake feeder mice of sorts at least.
a small aquatic snake like some sort of garter could maybe live off fish? I'm not sure about that though
>>2321378
They make great first snakes. I used to keep mine in my shirt and just chill on the couch. Got me out of a traffic ticket when I was taking him to the vet (in my shirt) and got pulled over for a tail light. As soon as he poked his head out the cop ran off. Apparently he had a phobia of snakes. Laughs were had.
>>2326497
the size of the stuff you need to feed grows with the animal of course, a young snake gets pinky mice for example, so you have time to adapt to feeding larger stuff as your snake grows

its so weird to look back on this and remember I thought the same way, and now think nothing of feeding my snakes fucking pigs
>>2326221
so pure
After I fed this little guy it'll come out of its hide like it wants to feed again, looking like it's ready to strike again.
Is hungry or just doing snake shit?
I currently have it on frozen rat hoppers, I feel like if I fed it two it would be way too much food for it.
>>2327506
it's still in food mode right after eating. just leave it lone because snakes are opportunistic and will overeat if you let them.
>>2327526
Do snakes get fat? Not in the cartoony big round belly sense, but thick?
>>2327590
Yes, you can overfeed snakes and they get fat and it's not healthy for them.
Picture unrelated, puff adders are just naturally this fat.

Male Ball Python. Biggest they usually get is 1k grams, come in a huge amount of colors, and are like cute pet rocks.
my ball python will do this little thing where it sticks its head out of it's hide, slowly slithering out like it's going to explore it's enclosure only to rapidly retract it's entire body back into the hide
It's does this for about an hour at times, in and out in and out.
Is something in my room scaring it?

What are some chill snakes to get?
Somebody has snake thread?
>>2327506
How much does yours weigh? Mines 225 grams and she does good with the smallest of small feeder rats. Only once a week. Uses only about 1/3 of her body to wrap around it so I'm not worried about it being to big
