this, or maybe bluntnose minnow. Check the first ray of the dorsal fin, if it's shorter than the rest it's a blunt nose.

Also scale crowding on the head (they get smaller and there's more of them) that also means its a bluntnose or fathead.

That's waaayyy bigger than a fathead minnow.

Anybody ever keep these guys?
I have him in a community 55 gallon with 3 goldfish and tetras khulis corys and ottos. Temp is set at 74. Heavy filtration. Im in his native habitat (southeast michigan) i could just rrlease him once it warms up a bit.
