Anyone enjoy foraging for their own food? We had wild blueberry bushes in our back yard growing up, and last year I found fiddleheads near a stream at my parents' new house. With spring coming I'm excited to try foraging for mushrooms, anyone have specific advice towards this? I'm in Massachusetts if that helps

Find which mushrooms your forests can grow, if any
Also start by searching for one easy to identify mushroom
Are these edible? And what are they? I am in Georgia, US

Mushrooms and berries are amazing but even if there's no forest around it's still could be possible to get some tea herbs.

Yup. I find false chanterelles around my families property in the spring, they're edible when cooked. Black chanterelles too.

This can't be stressed enough. Only collect mushrooms that CANNOT be confused with anything poisonous.
