It's a confirmation show, which dogs compete to be the closest to the breed standard. They don't really do an tricks, it's just the best representative of the breed.
That GSD has his hocks touching the ground, it's actually a really bad case too. This makes the dog's whole back end weak, they have trouble preforming a normal full gait and climbing things like stairs. In the long run he will develop very early arthritis and his back end will only get weaker. Not even going to touch the possibility of roach back
