These yellow animals are popping up in my isopod enclosures, but what are they?
at first I thought they were a species of springtail, but then I noticed wingbuds.
They clearly have a hemimetabolic life cycle, and apparently eat dead leafes, as I always see them munching on the dead hardwood leafes.
does anyone have an idea what these little, yellow insects are?

some kind of plant lice I suppose, but no clue about the specifics
good idea, thanks
but don't aphids have a proboscis like true bugs?
What would they be sucking out of dead leafes?
Also, they seem to be really chewing on the leafes
Alright, after looking around some more I stumbled upon barkflies. Valenzuela flavidus looks quite similar to the one in your pics.
