every species of freshwater turtle in the great lakes is at risk except for painted turtles.

Even snappers recently got put on the list, and there's calls to stop snapping turtle hunts...which I didn't think were that big in Canada.

Turtles are adorable.

It was a kind of sad magic because just being in the water you can tell they're not going to be around much longer. I got most of a semi when one brushed by me.

op here, but yeah it was awesome i had a pod of 6 swimming around me it was fucking amazing. Was looking for a school of reef sharks to swim with but no luck.

Are tortoises hard to look after/very time consuming? Do many places need a license for them or is aus just being cucked as usual? The only thing we can really get here are long-neck turtles.
