Hello /an/ I bring a question. My dog (no specific race, a street dog) eats my cats' food. I ask of you, is said food good enough for her? Can I simply buy the same food for both dog and cats and be done with their feeding?
This is the ingredient list:

>Extruded soybeans
>Soybean peel, soybean pellet
>Chicken oil, fish oil
>Chicken meal, fish meal
>Taurine
>85% phosphoric acid
>Salt, mineral and vitamin nucleus
>Ethoxyquin
>Calcium propionate
>Liver hydrolyzate
>70% choline.
Is this food safe for dogs? Any specific nutrient is not included in this food that my dog might need?

I got my cat a bowl that has hoods over the food so dogs can't get in it. Something to do with the way cats and dogs eat differently. When the dog was a puppy she could sneak a few pieces if they stuck to her tongue, but now that she's big she can't get her big dumb fucking face in there.

Your dog will eat your cat's food because it generally has more meat than dog food. It's also fatter. They can't eat each other's food, it doesn't have the same nutritional value and will cause liver damage. If you want to save money, look into raw feeding cats and raw feeding dogs

I wouldn't consider that food safe for cats, let alone dogs. Cats need taurine, that's for damn sure, but CARNIVOROUS MAMMALS do not require any of the greentexted ingredients. They're filler that your pet may become intolerant to.
