Hi,
I came for little help here since I'm not an expert. I want to identify this bird that came through my window almost 9 years ago. I'm from colombia near Ecuador, hope that helps to narrow a bit the search.
Pic very related, and two more.
One more
Last one, unfortunately I don't have more since it flew away, I only had it over a year.
hope some answers.
From what I can find, it seems like a magpie tanager (Cissopis leverianus)
They should be native to your area and live in small flocks
One that shouldn't be in a cage. Sincerely hope it was released soon after this was taken.

Thanks for releasing it.
kidnaping a bird and keeping it in a cage (despite of its size) is ignorant, sad as fuck and should be illegal.

You're a faggot

Come on anon, critical thinking much? It's a wild bird, not domesticated, and if you see no cruelty in this specific example of deprivation of liberty you're on the wrong >>>/b/oard

im not.
its very sad locking a birb.
The things are made to fly for miles, go everywhere and anywhere. They're synonyms of freedom.

Lmao my birds are lazy fucks that would rather walk than fly.
Just because humans can run doesn't mean all of us like running

>My captive bred birds are captive!
>that means it's okay to take any bird that flies in your window as a pet
My word, the leaps in logic you people take sometimes.
