If it just has no eyes then eh. I think a blind cockatial can live a normal happy life with the exception of I'd you'd really have to be careful letting it fly. If it looks healthy, acting alright, eating, etc then I don't see why not.

I also just googled it and you're not alone. Can't find anything that 'causes' it. Not sure if it's a random defect or it means you should not breed your pair anymore.

Let it live. You'll have to take a little extra care of it, but it deserves a chance at life. Other than possible feeding/drinking problems it can live out a normal life.

Sounds like a natural born seer. It does not see with its eyes but the its mind.
Its honestly probably best to euthanize it. Where are you located I'd honestly be interested in adopting it if you dont want to kill it.

My male already got a buch of kids, with his own mother and all where born perfectly fine. One time with a cinnamon female, both ok.

To be more acurrated, is a Pearl/Grey Male and a WhiteFace Pied (maybe cinnamon too). I just think she is really old, but don't know her age.

blind people can live a fulfilling life so im sure a lil tiel can too. he'll still be able to feel loved and have fun playing. if u dont feel up to caring for a disabled bird im sure there's a rescue somewhere that could help.
