I had to take care of one for two weeks.
He was boring. Shy as fuck at first, and then obedient to the point where I felt like I was taking care of a computer and not of an animal with free will. Even when we played fetch it just seemed like it was a task and not a game to him. When he came home after his walk he would stare at a wall and do nothing.
Maybe all of them aren't like that, this is just my experience

I still loved him tho, he was a good boy

Every once in a while I meet them at the dog parks we go to. They're lovely but a little small and delicate for me. Their heads are so velvety, though. Better than a horse's nose.

that's what it felt like. Awful for both of us really. I still had to make him exercise one way or the other so I tried to run with him. I never exercised one day in my life and this fucker managed to be way slower than me. Then I tried to make him play with other dogs. He just got afraid and didn't move an inch. I did awfully long walks but he just didn't seem to get tired

I read somewhere that hugs have a really calming effect on doggos but many don't let it happen because they find it awkward.
if your dog likes hugs then you can use it to calm it when it's distressed for example when there's a thunderstorm or fireworks.

dog pros on the other hand advise not to hug your doggo at fireworks because they might freak out even more in case there's no one to hug around

I have a pomeranian who likes hugs, he also growls at himself when he's scratching behind his ear. Sometimes he attacks his foot

he's just super weird, he stares at our cat and tries to bother him, but our cat could easily fuck him up, and he knows this. So if the cat raises his paw to smack him he runs off and yelps.

He tries to act tough but he yelps and cries at a loud noise or sometimes when I go to pick him up.
I love him very much regardless of how retarded he is though
