that breed looks like they should all be put down. find a breed that isn't unethical

better?

t. furry who tells everyone his dog is a wolf hybrid

Shut the fuck up you pointy ear, wolf-lookalike dog extremist. St Brenards are fucking awesome go die in a hole
A mut.

Fucking awesome and also horrifically bred. Enjoy your "7 year lifespan with joint and breathing issues" dog.
Keeshonden. They're ugly as fuck as adults, so here's some pups. I love the idea of having a "velcro dog" who is obnoxiously affectionate.

Give me source for that research
Basset Hounds. I love those stubborn, droopy, and long-eared dogs.

Me too, If only they were a bit taller and more healthy
I grew up with German Shepherds because my parents were police.
But our last dog was a Boxer with maybe part mastiff and he was the greatest.

t. person who hates dogs and supports entire breeds existing to suffer just for human enjoyment

I like them better as adults. Puppies just look like morbidly obese pomeranians.
I'm a sucker for beagles, because growing up my grandfather had a pair and we took them hunting. Such beautiful dogs.
My doggo is a cross between a border collie and a lab. That's my favourite

I LOVE my saint.
>>2298779
Did you use them to hunt small rodents or rabbits? It's the only thing that they can hunt...
>>2300421
Bullshit, they will track any game they are trained to track. Not all hunting with dogs ends with the dog engaging and killing the game.

>ugly as fuck
bitch where

I do love them and intend to drop a few grand to own a well-bred and ethically bred keeshond, but... They have this "annoying small dog" look in the face, their colors are a bit boring, and their eyes look soulless as fuck. I'm mostly meh about how few colors there are, though. (presumably unless you inbreed or have fucked up lines) Regardless, I do adore them. They're beautiful on the inside.
Dont even say shit to me
Love the looks of chows but I'm hesitant to own one. Anyone have any good stories about successful chow ownership?

I liked St Bernards when they could actually work.

wow those actually look like dogs instead of smushed raisins
When I was growing up we had a German Shepherd/ Siberian Husky mix. It had a good temperament, energy love, and not really any health problems.
I don't like German Shepherds though, because of their odd backside.
I would love to have Viszla/Weimraner mix. I think they are both beautiful and skilled dogs. That would probably only be an option if I have alot of yard and small game on my property. They could release their energy and hunter instinct.
I would also enjoy a Pharaoah Hound, especially since they need less exercise. My only problem would be introducing it to people.

>wanting a dog because of looks
>liking how chow chows look in the first place
You might as well just adopt pug if you want an unhealthy, ugly dog just for looks. They're difficult to raise and the ethics of breeding them are extremely dubious.

It's like you didn't even read what the thread was about :)

St. Brenards are so fucking cute as puppers. Then they smother you to death while hugging you/Smash you to the floor while giving you hugs as adults. Best doggers

I really wish people would read posts before expressing useless opinions.
