Best answer, land snails are also incredibly easy and fast-growing

Pretty sure a russian tortoise doesn't need fruit.
>>
>>2292440
They are are one of the easiest animals.
>Can make a cage almost out of anything for cheap
>Give hay and veggies
>Easy as fuck to litter train
>Pay attention too but most are fine with just running around for a bit while you do shit
>>

Are seeds vegetables?
Are hay vegetable?
>>
tortoises, russian tortoises seem to be common in the commercial pet trade. feed leafy greens and assorted (but specific) vegetables
>>
Iguanas eat leafy greens.
>>

second this. once you get your room set up and routine for care they're pretty simple

Don't you have to get rabbits spayed/neutered and vaccinated and whatnot?

Feel like I may as well get a dog if that's the case.
>>
>>2292440
If rabbits are your definition of "high maintenance" I wouldn't get you anything more complicated than a fish.
>>
>>2293110
I don't know if "high maintenance" is the phrase I'd use, but they do take more care than most people think.
You can't just throw them in a tiny cage or hutch and give them only the cheapest of rabbit food like a lot of people do.

We had a rabbit that had no cage, just ran around our backyard and flicked pee on our GSD every day. He was awesome

He wasn't neutered and was fine. Unless you get more than one you won't need to neuter.

Yes, in a broad sense. They are vegetable matter.
