I have two male dogs. One is around 3 years old and one is 2 years old. We trained them to stay within the yard, but every time we take them off their chains, they end up fighting with eachother. It never happens in daylight. It's always some time during the night. They're usually not hostile towards eachother, and are often seen playing together in the small space that their chains overlap. I hate to see them chained up, but I'm really unsure of what else I can do right now. Any solutions? Reasons they might be fighting?
What you are calling fighting could be normal socialization, posturing, or simply play.
If neither dog has seriously injured each other then it's probably no big deal.

No, they nearly killed eachother last time. Forgot to mention that bit.

Is it dark enough that they can't see each other? One may fear the dark and attacks the other causing a fight.
Do they have balls?

I have two dogs and recently ones been more skiddish and afraid. Since they are just dogs and one tried to bite me, I put one outside in the kennel. What can I do with him? I've been his "mother" forever and he always been fearful and this time he literally tried to bite me. What do I do? Pls
Anything?
