How stupid do you have to be not to be able to catch a pill bug? Just lift up a log and grab it. It's not rocket science.

H true but I know how to catch simple pill bugs, I'm talking about rare ones not your everyday pillbug

You have to use a little suckage for the rare ones, like a vacuum cleaner or straw

i have some to keep my terrarium clean. they are detritivores which means they eat the gross stuff other things don't. mine eat the refuse from my amblypygid.

they have a similar respiratory system as a hermit crab (they are isopods, not insects) and as such will drown in very dry conditions so i'd spritz the substrate (organic potting soil) with water every day and straight up wet the soil once a week.
